I decided to check out a Girl's Night In that was held at Quakers Hill NSW and I took some photos to share. This Stampin Fiesta was held by a team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators on the 24th October 2009 to raise money for the fight against Breast Cancer. Over 130 keen ladies attended an afternoon and evening session at Hambledon Primary School, aptly dressed in pink. The ladies made seven cards and two Christmas tags each, which included many stamping techniques – chalking, masking, faux stitching and lots of punching. Homemade pink cakes and biscuits were enjoyed and lots of displays provided inspiration for future projects.
Abundant raffle prizes were kindly donated by Stampin’ Up! and De Bortolli Wines which helped to raise over $2,000 for the cause. The day was organized by demonstrators Belinda Hennessy, Angela Parker, Christie Wallace, Merryl Blacker, Joanna Wassens, Danielle Pitts, Kylie O’Brien and Michelle Le Breton.
Well done girls!
